К первому типу он относит такие ФИ, как: as a y hi g, as blazes, as hell, as he devil, as old boo s, as all ge -ou – адски, дьявольски, чертовски. В.Кунину, представляет собой наиболее многочисленную группу ФИ и включает следующие единицы: like o e o’clock – точно, пунктуально; like billy-o, like blazes – сильно, чрезвычайно, ужасно; like fu – энергично, стремительно, очень быстро; like hell, like mad, like he devil – как черт, чертовски, дьявольски; like a ba ou of hell – во весь опор, во всю мочь; like obody’s busi ess – без конца, чертовски ловко; like old boo s - изо всех сил и др.
