Wooden Wand is one moniker of singer-songwriter James Jackson Toth, who has also recorded under his given name as well as the name WAND. One-time backing band The Vanishing Voice is a Brooklyn band composed of Jessica Bowen (formerly Jessica Toth, now of Jex Thoth), G. Lucas Crane, Heidi Diehl, and Steven Jarvis Tavaniere. The band members met at Purchase College. The Vanishing Voice collaboration has been classified under the genre of New Weird America, exemplified by a growing group of artists reviving and adapting the legacy of 1960s and ' 70s folk music. Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The style of music recorded by Toth and his many incarnations has drawn on a variety of both conventional and experimental folk and rock influences, including psych folk, acid folk, freak-folk, free folk, and indie.

|The Voice of the People Ellen G. |
Glasgow' s realistic fiction novels often showed the female characters as stronger than the male characters. As the crowd in the doorway parted slightly, a breeze passed into the room, scattering the odors of bad tobacco and farm-stained clothing. The vantage point from which most of her nineteen novels were written was her native home of Richmond, Virginia. She received the Pulitzer prize in 1942. The book begins: The last day of Circuit Court was over at Kingsborough. The Jury had vanished from the semicircle of straight-backed chairs in the old courthouse, the clerk had laid aside his pen along with his air of listless attention, and the judge was making his way through the straggling spectators to the sunken stone steps of the platform outside. It was this new type of Southern fiction that made Ellen Glasgow one of the major writers of her time. The sound of a cowbell came through one of the small windows, from the green beyond, where a red-and-white cow was browsing among the buttercups. |Exploratory Study of the Relationship Between CSA and Female Obesity. Valuable Voices Validated Книга по Требованию Anne S.R. |
An argument has been made on behalf of Allie, Grace and Cloe, that the impetus for their behaviour is derived not from the conventional belief they need to protect themselves from further harm but from a core belief of unworthiness as beings; hence, the very act of internalizing this imposed, shameful identity results in, first, the original experience of childhood sexual abuse becoming more entrenched in mind and body memory, and second, this necessitates the continuation of obsessive eating to appease the resultant dis-ease within self.

|Women's Voice in Old English Poetry. A Reading of Wulf and Eadwacer and The Wife's Lament
Wulf and Eadwacer and The Wife' s Lament occupy a unique position in the Old English poetic corpus, as the only poems which have women as speakers. The present book summarizes and discusses these interpretations, and also presents a close textual analysis of the texts. The book can serve as an introduction or companion to the study of these poems, and should prove useful primarily to students of Old English literature, but it can also be of interest to anyone who would like to know more about these controversial, yet hauntingly beautiful gems of Old English elegiac poetry. Short, but difficult and often enigmatic, these poems never ceased to intrigue scholars. Numerous readings of the texts have been proposed, resulting in widely differing and sometimes contrasting interpretations.
